Our camping program at Mount View Primary school provides the opportunities for students to engage in camps that require teamwork, resilience, care and empathy, inclusiveness and persistence. Camp is a terrific way for students to increase their confidence. By challenging themselves in a range of different experiences, a child develops trust in themselves. Through developing trust in themselves, they learn to extend themselves both within and outside the classroom, in social interactions with others, and with other general challenges they may face. They also learn vital skills to help them work within a team.
