The Student Representative Council (SRC) is run by a student representative from each class in Years 4 -6 to empower student voice as valued members of the school community. The SRC support students to be active decision makers in education.
The SRC responds to the voice of the students within the school by taking action to improve the school. They also coordinate and run events to raise funds for much needed charities and organisations.
Student representatives meet every fortnight.
The students who represent their class on SRC are nominated by their class for their role and actively pass on information to both their class and a buddy class in the junior years of the school.
This year the SRC led the school to participate in National Ride2School Day. It is a celebration of active travel by riding, walking, scooting or skating to school. This was in response to students wanting to kickstart healthy habits of riding to school and reduce the number of cars on the road.
