LOTE - Chinese (Mandarin)

The study of this Language Other Than English (LOTE) provides the students from Years Three to Six with the opportunity to develop skills with another language and to learn about the Chinese culture.  

All lessons have a clearly defined communicative purpose appropriate to the students’ stage of learning, and where possible, take place in realistic situations.  

Students learn about aspects of culture, such as the daily life of their peers, their food, games, beliefs, philosophies of life and current issues.
