The Humanities
Learning programs integrate learning from the three different strands and are linked to what students understand about their world. For example learning about a topic such as sustainability includes Humanities, Maths and English. Powerful, open questions such as ‘How would life be different if we couldn’t measure time?’ rather than ‘How many minutes in an hour, how many hours in a day?’ are generative, sparking inquiry and provide students with demanding content.
